Pour y rem\u00e9dier, laissons de c\u00f4t\u00e9 le regard des autres et commen\u00e7ons par nous f\u00e9liciter nous-m\u00eames. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>La souffrance au travail est un th\u00e8me r\u00e9current de l\u2019actualit\u00e9. Pourtant, les t\u00e2ches sont infiniment moins p\u00e9nibles qu\u2019il y a un si\u00e8cle ou un demi-si\u00e8cle seulement car l\u2019automatisation est partout. La probl\u00e9matique est ailleurs : selon une \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en mars 2018, un Fran\u00e7ais salari\u00e9 sur 2 se dit d\u00e9motiv\u00e9 par manque de reconnaissance.<\/p>\n<p>Or, si le travail est source d\u2019\u00e9panouissement, il ne l\u2019est qu\u2019\u00e0 condition de nous sentir utile, d\u2019apporter une valeur ajout\u00e9e tangible \u00e0 la productivit\u00e9 de notre employeur, ou de donner satisfaction \u00e0 nos clients ou \u00e0 nos patients si nous sommes ind\u00e9pendants.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre collectif o\u00f9 \u00e9voluent la majorit\u00e9 des personnes r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9es de ce pays, le bien-\u00eatre psychologique favorise largement les performances des entreprises concern\u00e9es. La gestion des ressources humaines est donc cruciale. Mais elle est en crise ; chacun en p\u00e2tit, le patronat comme les subordonn\u00e9s et\u2026 l\u2019\u00e9conomie en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. L\u2019absent\u00e9isme en est \u00e0 la fois le signe et le sympt\u00f4me.<\/p>\n<p>Face aux bouleversements li\u00e9s \u00e0 la r\u00e9volution num\u00e9rique, la globalisation, la concurrence exacerb\u00e9e et l\u2019\u00ab uberisation \u00bb de notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019accumulation des progr\u00e8s techniques et des informations qui circulent sur la Toile ou atterrissent dans notre bo\u00eete mail au quotidien, les adaptations sont trop lentes et\/ou brouillonnes. Une improvisation qui rend illisible la valeur ajout\u00e9e des uns et des autres. On est tous d\u00e9bord\u00e9s et l\u2019encadrement n\u2019a ni le temps ni m\u00eame la possibilit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle de mesurer l\u2019impact du travail individuel sur la r\u00e9ussite du groupe. <\/p>\n<p>Ecouter les salari\u00e9s, donner du sens \u00e0 leurs fonctions particuli\u00e8res, leur permettre d\u2019exprimer leurs <em>desiderata <\/em>en mati\u00e8re de t\u00e9l\u00e9travail et d\u2019articulation entre activit\u00e9 et vie de famille, respecter les engagements pris\u2026 : un d\u00e9fi pour demain, mais nous sommes loin du compte.<\/p>\n<p>En attendant, que pouvons-nous faire pour att\u00e9nuer ce manque de reconnaissance si caract\u00e9ristique de notre \u00e9poque ?<\/p>\n<p>Commen\u00e7ons par nous demander si cette reconnaissance doit venir forc\u00e9ment des regards ext\u00e9rieurs. La r\u00e9ponse est non. Elle est d\u2019abord int\u00e9rieure. Si nous agissons dans l\u2019espoir de trouver chez l\u2019autre l\u2019approbation, la validation de nos comportements, alors nous courons \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chec car nous lui attribuons un pouvoir d\u00e9mesur\u00e9 et imm\u00e9rit\u00e9 sur nous-m\u00eame. Nous nous pla\u00e7ons en position d\u2019attente, ce qui provoque inconfort, stress &#8211; et surtout d\u00e9stabilisation si cette attente reste vaine, comme c\u2019est souvent le cas.<\/p>\n<p>Concr\u00e8tement, nous avons tout int\u00e9r\u00eat, dans l\u2019espace professionnel, \u00e0 nous fixer des objectifs raisonnables et conformes \u00e0 nos aptitudes, \u00e0 en tirer satisfaction une fois la t\u00e2che accomplie sans compter forc\u00e9ment sur des remerciements ou f\u00e9licitations. Nous devons avoir conscience que ces personnes ont aussi de failles, des difficult\u00e9s ou alors sont autocentr\u00e9es&#8230; On sait que la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 complimenter est une qualit\u00e9 rare chez l\u2019\u00eatre humain.<\/p>\n<p>Si la reconnaissance de notre sup\u00e9rieur ou de nos coll\u00e8gues se manifeste ult\u00e9rieurement, cela contribuera \u00e0 notre bien-\u00eatre. Mais elle ne doit pas \u00eatre la condition pr\u00e9alable, <em>sine qua non<\/em>, dudit bien-\u00eatre auquel nous aspirons l\u00e9gitimement.<\/p>\n<p>Plus encore : nous sommes l\u2019\u00e9manation de notre propre pens\u00e9e. En ayant spontan\u00e9ment confiance en nous, en \u00e9tant satisfaits de notre travail, nos interlocuteurs appr\u00e9cieront d\u2019autant mieux ce que nous sommes et ce que nous faisons. Verbaliser positivement notre action cr\u00e9era un halo de r\u00e9ussite autour de nous, renvoyant une image qui nous d\u00e9finira \u00e0 son tour positivement dans notre environnement relationnel.<\/p>\n<p>Si nous insistons sur nos lacunes, nos doutes, si nous nous d\u00e9valorisons, nous recevrons \u00e0 l\u2019inverse des signaux n\u00e9gatifs, condescendants ou paternalistes.
